Foundations is Castleoak's charitable arm. It's funded by an annual donation from the Castleoak Group together with contributions from colleagues' individual fundraising efforts.
Our Foundations Committee is made up of colleagues from across the company - and they drive our charitable support programme, overseeing our contribution to a range of charitable and community causes.
Castleoak also supports selected causes close to our construction sites as well as our partners' charitable efforts.
Charity causes are nominated by Castleoak colleagues and the final decision is made by the Foundations Committee. We are currently supporting the following charities:
Parkinson’s UK will be our national charity for the next two years (until December 2017). This charity provides expert information and training, funds research into a cure for Parkinson’s and offers friendship and support to those affected and their families.
Y Bont is our local charity for the next year (until December 2016). Founded in 1993 by a small group of families, the charity now runs a purpose-built centre in Bridgend ‘enabling children with a disability to fulfil their potential’. Volunteers provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play, as well as support and guidance to their families.
