Community support
Castleoak's charitable arm, Foundations, is funded by an annual donation from the Group, and contributed to through colleagues' fundraising efforts and the proceeds of various Castleoak events.
Our Foundations Committee spearheads our charitable support programme, and is made up of colleagues drawn from all over the Castleoak Group of companies.
The Committee oversees our contribution to a range of charitable and community causes in two ways:
- by selecting our chosen charity which is the focus of our fundraising efforts: from September 2011 to September 2013 this is Tŷ Hafan, the Welsh children's hospice - click here to find out more
- by supporting our most local communities through small grants requested by colleagues for the causes they care about and/or are involved with
Corporately, we also support selected causes close to our sites as well as our partners' charitable efforts.
Foundations is central to Castleoak’s community support programme, which received a Sunday Times award in 2005.
