Corporate

Castleoak works exclusively for organisations providing social care for older people through two operating companies - Castleoak Care Partnerships, the foremost design and build company in the sector, and Castleoak Care Developments the development arm charged with bringing forward new care homes which are then operated on long term leases by major care providers.

We are a values driven organisation with a strong track record for being a good employer and for having a strong sense of social responsibility. We featured in the Sunday Times listings of the Best Small Companies in 2005 and 2007 and this year were the only construction company in the country to receive the highest three star status under the newly introduced Best Companies accreditation system for staff engagement.

Castleoak began life in 1984 and we built our first care home two years later. We gradually developed this specialism and since 1996 have built nothing but care homes and supported housing for older people across the UK.

We have designed and constructed over 6,600 bed spaces in more than one hundred projects. Every year we design/build between 500 and 600 bed spaces and a further 100 to 200 apartments and other extra care/close care models. Typically, we have between 10 and 12 projects on site at any one time across the country.

The two Castleoak operating companies have an annual turnover which will top £60 million in 2007/08 and we employ over 120 people.
