Culture & People

If you asked for two words to describe the company we’d choose “committed” and “professional”. If you then asked for another two words to describe how we go about our work, we’d say “practical” and “friendly”. That’s what we mean when we talk about our culture. We’re proud of the environment we’ve established and we work hard to preserve it.

At the heart of it is a commitment to develop everyone to their full potential and to actively promote their well-being. In practical terms, this means trying to avoid excessive hours becoming the norm.
  • It means encouraging people to use their full leave entitlement.
  • It means doing away with blame and replacing it with learning.
  • It means swapping office politics for openness and honesty.
  • It means recognising talent and rewarding it.
  • In short, it means doing those things which make Castleoak a great place to work.
The Sunday Times thinks we’ve got the recipe right, listing us in its Best Companies to Work For Surveys and awarding us three star status for employee engagement.
