Our annual Innovation Exchange took place earlier this week, where this year the theme was “Social care: Delivering efficiencies to the NHS". With contributions from leading policymakers, and health and social care experts, and attended by many of our sectors’ leading lights, this event is gaining momentum each year.
Held at the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxfordshire, presentations in the morning were followed by workshops in the afternoon where all delegates and presenters put forward their ideas on how the social care sector and the NHS can work together and overcome some of the barriers which exist. We are now collating the ideas and observations, which we are planning to present to the Department of Health.
