We have been granted planning permission at our development site at Parkgate Road, Mollington in Chester, for a 70-bed care home. This is a development project, with a contract in place with longstanding customer, Barchester Healthcare. Our development team will now be seeking a licence from Natural England to relocate newts from the site, with a projected start of work in Spring 2011.
Planning approval for a 60-bed care home has also been given at the site of Cherry Garth, currently a 43-bed care home on Orchard Way, Holmer Green, Buckinghamshire. Our site team will begin work in the autumn on this, our seventh of eight projects for Housing Solutions in partnership with the County Council and the Fremantle Trust as part of Project Care, the reprovisioning programme for Buckinghamshire.
