Special visit at South Leeds today
Today our South Leeds site welcomed representatives from customer, MHA, including Group Director, Jane Barker, along with their special guests, the Rev David Gamble, President of the Methodist Conference, and the Rt Rev John Packer, Bishop of Ripon and Leeds, and visitors from Leeds City Council.
We are building 45 extra care apartments for MHA on the former site of a local authority home, Hemingway House, on Belinda Street in the South Leeds district of Hunslet.
The association has received a grant for the scheme with the help of Leeds City Council and a £750,000 appeal has been launched to help meet the cost of extra facilities in the development.
