Jonathan Smith, Business Development Director
Jonathan has over 23 years’ experience in the fields of PR and marketing. A law graduate of Exeter University, he has been managing director and chairman with two UK network agencies - Golley Slater and Freshwater UK respectively.
Much of his experience has been within the fields of construction and development and he spent three years as Sales & Marketing Director for a luxury house-builder.
He is a regular speaker at conferences and a broadcaster, having presented his own series on BBC Radio. He has recently stepped down after a four year appointment as the external examiner for Cardiff University’s MA in International PR.
Jonathan joined Castleoak in 2005, having worked as a consultant with the company for over ten years and having sat on its board in a non-executive capacity for over eighteen months. His principal responsibilities are for the group’s external and internal marketing programmes and for new business development.
Jonathan is married with three children.
