Castleoak Connects: our new podcast series on “life, work and later living”
This week sees the launch of our first podcast series featuring one-to-ones with an eclectic mix of guests, including a futurist, a public philosopher and a military leader, alongside thought leaders on later living and care.
Castleoak Connects brings together a diverse group of guests to share their thoughts and experiences of “life, work and later living.” The first four, now live at www.castleoakconnects.buzzsprout.com, are conversations with:
“reluctant futurist', Mark Stevenson
Greg Walsh, a specialist architect in design for those with dementia
Major General Andrew Mackay CBE, former commander of the British Army in Afghanistan
Roman Krznaric, public philosopher and author.
Future episodes will feature Professor Deborah Sturdy OBE, expert adviser for care home nursing to the NHS and director of health and wellbeing at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
“Curiosity has never been more important and this is a time where we have all been thinking big in our daily lives,” said Kate Still, Castleoak’s Chief Operating Officer, who will host series 2 of the podcasts in the new year.
“We wanted to talk to some fascinating people and get their perspective on life, work and later living to share not just with our own colleagues but also our wider partners. It’s quite inspiring stuff, but also a really easy, enjoyable listen, and we hope people will give it a go and let us know what they think.”
