Staying "safely productive" throughout lockdown
Updated: Jul 24
From the start of the Coronavirus crisis, our people focused on staying safely productive. We were determined not to close our sites, and, in collaborative teams with our supply partners, to work through implementing the Government's safety advice and the Conctruction Leadership Council guidelines. We also did not wish to furlough any of our people when we believed it possible to run our business safely and to remain a positive contributor to the national and local economies.
I am pleased to say that, so far, we have succeeded in staying safely productive. Last month's successful handover of a new care home at Shinfield for Care UK, delivered on programme, was quite a moment for us, being symbolic of the efforts of all Castleoak’s people in continuing to deliver for customers and remaining resilient as we redefine how we work.
We are really grateful to our superb supply partners whose collaborative efforts have meant that, together, we can continue to deliver for our customers as they continue to deliver for their residents and their families.
